The Vagos Metal Fest 2026 is gearing up for a truly historic edition. The confirmation of Lamb of God and Within Temptation as headliners raises the bar even higher, consolidating an epic lineup that includes In Flames, Godsmack, Lamb of God, Within Temptation, Heaven Shall Burn, Deicide, Combichrist, Filii Nigrantium Infernalium, Holocausto Canibal, Rivetskull, and The Fall of Creation.
But the news doesn’t stop there: in an unprecedented move, the organizers announce the extension of the festival to five full days of metal celebration. From August 5 to 9, 2026, Quinta do Ega will become the epicenter of metal in Portugal and Europe, with two extra days offered to all ticket holders at no additional cost—a true gift to the community that has helped the festival grow year after year.
LAMB OF GOD
Considered one of the biggest names in modern groove and metal, the American band Lamb of God finally arrive in Vagos, also being one of the most requested bands by the festival audience, for a performance that promises to be unforgettable. With classics such as Laid to Rest, Redneck, and Walk with Me in Hell, the band delivers a show that confirms their status as one of the most influential acts of their generation.
WITHIN TEMPTATION
From the Netherlands comes the melodic and symphonic power of Within Temptation, led by the iconic Sharon den Adel. The band brings their biggest hits to Portugal, including Ice Queen and Stand My Ground, alongside the strength of their latest releases, promising an epic show full of emotion, theatricality, and the unique atmosphere that has established them as pioneers of symphonic metal worldwide. After two dates at the Sala Tejo of MEO Arena in late 2024, Within Temptation return to Portugal to reconnect with their Portuguese fans at Vagos Metal Fest 2026.

The diversity of the lineup also grows with the addition of three names set to make a mark on this edition:
● Filii Nigrantium Infernalium, legends of the national underground scene;
● Rivetskull, classic heavy metal with American DNA;
